Water Chemistry
We constantly conduct studies on water p.H., temperature, hardness, heavy metal and level of chorine, so that the source of our water is very much conditioned for fish rearing.

Diseases & Medication
We do have our own research lab in dealing with disease matters.
All current and new drugs for medication treatment and quarantine
purpose, will constantly be studied and monitored so that the most
appropriate and effective one be given to our fish. So far, in order to prevent diseases due to parasites and bacteria, we use combination
of drugs such as metronidazole,
sulfamethoxazole and co-trimoxazole during quarantine
process. Besides, we use albendazole and mebendazole to prevent worms
from growing or multiplying in fish body.
To prevent ammonia and nitrite toxicity in our
tanks, we change 80% of water twice a day for grow up tank, while at
least 4 times a day for fry rearing tank.
In addition, we conduct studies on packing water in order to minimize
contamination during export transportation process.

Foods & Nutrition
All discus fry are being fed with freshly hatched brine shrimp eggs. As
for youngsters, we feed them with our own beefheart recipe. Ingredients
of our beef heart recipe, imported frozen beef heart from New Zealand,
imported frozen fish fillet, imported frozen prawn and chicken fillet
and our very special ingredient,
fresh and dehydrated prawns which are very rich in carotene are
added in order to intensify discus colour naturally.
Spirulina, multivitamin, extracts of Lingzhi, carrot, celery, onion, green pea, spinach and tomato are all found in our recipe. Grounded garlic is specially mixed to the recipe so that to boost discus immune system.

Preparation for hatching of artemia cyst (brine shrimp eggs), typical ingredients of our beefheart recipe which include carotene-rich
dehydrated prawn flakes
When the discus are getting bigger, pallet food will then be introduced
gradually to replace beefheart mixture so that the discus will be adaptable to
similar pallet food after being exported.
Packing Techniques
Proper solution is added to minimize stress
and injury to the discus during transportation. Our
D.O.A is less than 1%.
